What this does
Enter the original price and a percentage off (or the sale price) and see the final price and the amount saved. Stacked discounts (20% then a further 10%) are handled as successive, not added.
When to use it
- Checking a sale tag before the till.
- Working out what percentage a price cut actually was.
Good to know
"20% + 10%" is 28% off, not 30% — the second discount applies to the already reduced price.
