What this does

Changes the pixel dimensions of an image. Enter a width or height and the other side follows to keep the proportions, or set both to force a size.

Common targets

  • Profile photo: 400×400 or 800×800.
  • Facebook cover 820×312, Instagram post 1080×1080, story 1080×1920.
  • Website hero 1920×1080; thumbnails 300×300.
  • Email signature 300–600 px wide.

Good to know

Making an image smaller keeps it sharp. Making it larger stretches the same pixels and softens it — for that, use the Image Enlarger, which interpolates.
