What this does

Reformats compressed JavaScript into readable code: line breaks after statements, indentation by block, spaces around operators. Variable names are not restored — for that see the Deobfuscator.

When to use it

  • Reading a library or a site script that shipped minified.
  • Debugging when the source map is missing.

Good to know

Formatting is purely cosmetic; the code behaves identically.
