HEX to Decimal
What this does
Reads a hexadecimal number (with or without 0x or #) and returns its base-10 value. FF is 255; 0x1A is 26.
When to use it
- Understanding a colour channel value or a Unicode code point (
U+D55C= 54620). - Decoding a hex ID or error code.
Good to know
Case does not matter — ff and FF are the same.
