Binary to HEX
What this does
Groups binary digits in fours and writes each group as one hex digit. 1111 0000 becomes F0.
When to use it
- Compressing a long bit string into something readable.
- Comparing register values shown in different bases.
Good to know
Leading zeros are added on the left so the bit count is a multiple of four.
